A Note
I didn’t begin with shoes. I began with storytelling.
Long before 1001 Stories, I was immersed in theatre - studying how light, texture, and space could shape emotion. At Central Saint Martins, I learned that every meaningful design starts with something deeper than form.
It begins with a story.

I spent years immersed in storytelling - through set, costume, and light. Working with some of the world’s most enduring scripts, I came to understand that every meaningful design begins with something deeper: a narrative.
While the written word remains one of our oldest and most powerful forms of expression, design has a different kind of language; one that moves across borders, cultures, and perspectives without translation.
Surrounded by extraordinary talent, I quickly realised I was not meant to create monuments, nor to pursue perfection in the traditional sense. Instead, I was drawn to something more instinctive - colour, texture, emotion.
I became fascinated by how form could envelop a person.
How something could be felt as much as it is seen.
That instinct stayed with me.

My world, much like my upbringing, has always been layered with colour and contrast. Travel, both physical and emotional, continues to shape my perspective. From the everyday to the extraordinary, inspiration reveals itself constantly. Nature remains the greatest designer of all.
I don’t follow a fixed process.
Creativity, for me, comes through stillness, through observation, through empathy. It often appears when I step away, when I allow space to think differently, to question, to reimagine.
To create something meaningful, one must remain deeply aware of the world around them. To listen. To observe. To understand.
What inspires me most is not a single moment, but a way of being: experimenting, exploring, questioning assumptions, and allowing imagination to lead.
Over the years, I’ve held onto a few guiding thoughts, shared by mentors, friends, and sometimes unexpected voices:
• Stay connected to the world around you. Culture is constantly shifting - understand it, observe it, and respond with intention.
• Challenge your own perspective. Growth begins there.
• Be resilient. Creativity requires vulnerability, and with it comes criticism. Learn to move through it.
• Do not fear failure. Without it, nothing truly new can emerge.
• Push boundaries. Comfort rarely leads to meaningful work.
• And above all, listen and be kind.
This is how I create.
This is how I see the world.
And this is how the story continues.
