Born in London from the imagination of founder and creative director Shahrzad Moaven, 1001 Stories began with a simple belief: fashion should feel as beautiful as it looks.
Inspired by a lifelong love of travel, craftsmanship and the power of personal expression, Shahrzad set out to create something beyond beautiful shoes, a luxury footwear house where every design carries intention and every collection serves a deeper purpose.
Now based in Dubai, 1001 Stories celebrates individuality, artistry and the spirit of those who wear its creations. Handcrafted in Italy and released in limited editions, each design is made to inspire, empower and give back.

A designer, a storyteller and a dreamer...
Shahrzad’s creative journey began at Central Saint Martins, where she studied Theatre Design and developed a passion for creativity, imagination and the art of bringing ideas to life.
For over 18 years, she worked with some of the world’s most prestigious luxury fashion and jewellery houses, creating extraordinary experiences and bringing their stories to life.
In 2019, Shahrzad founded 1001 Stories in London, bringing together her love of design, travel, craftsmanship and meaningful storytelling. Inspired by the belief that beauty should have purpose, she created a luxury footwear house where every design tells a story and every collection has the power to give back.
Today, Shahrzad continues to shape the creative vision of 1001 Stories, designing limited-edition footwear where individuality, artistry and purpose meet.

Nadia began her career in New York, building experience across media, communications and brand strategy.
With an international perspective and a background in brand development, Nadia joined 1001 Stories as a partner, bringing her organisational expertise and a practical approach to supporting the brand’s growth.
Working alongside Shahrzad, she contributes to the development of 1001 Stories as the brand enters its next chapter.
